First of all, I’ll make it clear that this review is solely for the movie, so do not expect some book-movie comparisons in here. For the die-hard Twilight Saga fanatics out there, I’m sorry but this movie failed to meet my expectations. The special effects is great but the flow and phasing of the story is very horrible. While watching, I remembered how “Robin Hood” was delivered and it seemed that I was watching the same thing, though Twilight is a bit faster. The history given about vampires and werewolves is a good ingredient of the movie and I liked it.
For me there are only two highlights in the movie Eclipse, the “tent scene” and the “face-off.” The tent scene was very remarkable. I will never forget Edward’s reaction when Jacob hugged Bella to keep her warm during the storm. Much more when Jacob asked her to remove her clothes to feel his heat more. Yeah, Survival 101!  Did Bella remove her clothes? Just watch the movie!
For me, the “face-off” between the newborns and vampire-werewolf team was the most anticipated scene in the movie but, honestly, the flick failed to deliver. They could have made it better and more exciting. The effects on the face- off scene is great but it was not that action-packed. The Victoria-Edward fight scene also lacked some intensity considering that it should be the most breathtaking part or event in the movie. But overall they did a quite satisfying job.
There are also a lot of kissing scenes and there is nothing wrong with that. At least, unlike the other movie series, Twilight’s characters are growing with their audience. The problem is that some people in the movie house did not anticipate it so they ended up bringing their 10-year old and below, children. Thus, when Bella and Edward or Bella and Jacob were kissing, some adults were truly excited and the children were definitely clueless.

“Toy Story 3” is definitely and non-arguably one of the best movies of this year. For me there are lots of memories in this franchise since I watched the first and second parts years ago and now having the third part, after years, brought everything back as it doubled the excitement. The storyline is simple yet effective. Kudos to the people behind this movie because it includes a lot of heart. The movie is also not trying hard to impress its audience, instead it just delivered basic fun but with a lasting effect.
We all know the plot, I think. In “Toy Story 3”, Woody and friends were all donated to Sunnyside day care because Andy is already going to college. But there are events which happened prior to the donation which is pertinent to the toys’ fate. I will not unveil them so that you can discover yourself the real reason why they are donated.
Then the chaos started on the Sunnyside day care center. Again, most of your expectations are incorrect about this supposed to be toy-friendly place. Fun and chaos emerged on different scenes, and may I repeat that those funny moments are simply orchestrated yet very effective. Those unforgettable scenes include Ken and Barbie’s moments, Mr. Potato in a cucumber and a Flamenco Buzz Lightyear!
Next is the escape part of the movie wherein Woody and friends will attempt to get back to Andy before his departure time. This is the most intense part of the movie and I can say that their escape plan is a bit clever for a toy! The rest is history and a must see. You’ll really enjoy it.
The last part is Andy’s departure. When he was reminiscing his past with the toys, I was affected. It was really touching and if you are really a Toy Story fan, you will be sad thinking that this franchise will come to an end. You will also remember as an audience the moments that you spent when you watched Toy Story 1 and 2 and everything is emotional.
If in case it will be the farewell movie for the Toy Story franchise then I can confidently say that it is indeed a very memorable one and most, if not all, viewers will surely miss this series.

“The Karate Kid” is a legit blockbuster but I don’t know why it failed to impress me. But before telling the things that I didn’t like about this movie, I will first mention its due praises. First, the movie is a crowd pleaser and I enjoyed it at some point. The movie house is jampacked and I can tell that kids who are watching were really affected, as they shout most of the time especially when Dre Parker (Jaden Smith) is being hit. Second, Meiying (Han Wen Wen) is a perfect fit for Dre. They have chemistry and everybody felt it. Lastly, Jackie Chan as Mr. Han is simply remarkable. The “jacket” training is clever and awesome, and I can’t think of other actors who can top his performance. He added humor and quality to the movie and well, my expectations on Jackie Chan’s role were all achieved.
But again, this movie has some flaws as well. First, the phasing is SO slow. The movie is 140 minutes and it took them 60 minutes to get into the main plot. I mean the introduction part as well as Dre’s getting-to-know China and kung-fu scenes are all important but it doesn’t need to be that long. Second, personally Jaden is not that effective. Yeah there are hardship and triumph scenes but he failed to establish a connection to me. I didn’t even feel sorry when his leg is broken on the ending part of the movie because I didn’t really feel him. Lastly, the movie has no lasting impact. After I watched it, I can’t even remember some important scenes. I can’t also get why Mr. Han’s past wast brought up yet the writers or the director failed to emphasize its value to the movie.
This movie is a must see for children, they will really love it. It also teaches the value of perseverance and patience. But if you are looking for a quality film that is worth remembering then watch A-Team instead!

If your plan A is to watch “A-Team” then you should stick to it because there is really no plan B. You must watch this movie if you want to have an almost 2-hour fun and entertainment. This movie shows two things – craziness and action-packed scenes. I am not bored at all from the beginning and I found it really funny and tricky especially towards the ending part. I have no complains on the cast, Liam Neeson as Colonel John “Hannibal” Smith, Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck, Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson as B.A. Baracus and Sharlto Copley as “Howling Mad” Murdock. They are all great on this movie.

Hannibal is the mastermind. Faceman is the face, muscle, and brain especially of the final assault. B.A. is so hilarious especially on the air scenes. Murdock is the craziest among them and I really love his psychiatric acting job. On the scenes, I really like the 3D escape that they had accomplished.

The story is great although it is not related to the TV series and there are some issues on how they escaped easily from their maximum security prisons. But I had disregarded those tiny detail issues and eventually enjoyed watching the movie. The back story on how they all met and convicted is well explained as well. Although their plans are almost perfect every time, I still like the twists that always ruin their freedom. This is just a backbone review on the movie because I won’t tell much details about it. You should see it yourself and I guarantee you that most likely than not, you will enjoy this A-rated movie.
By the way, there is an after-credits scene so you should wait for it.
