“Toy Story 3” is definitely and non-arguably one of the best movies of this year. For me there are lots of memories in this franchise since I watched the first and second parts years ago and now having the third part, after years, brought everything back as it doubled the excitement. The storyline is simple yet effective. Kudos to the people behind this movie because it includes a lot of heart. The movie is also not trying hard to impress its audience, instead it just delivered basic fun but with a lasting effect.
We all know the plot, I think. In “Toy Story 3”, Woody and friends were all donated to Sunnyside day care because Andy is already going to college. But there are events which happened prior to the donation which is pertinent to the toys’ fate. I will not unveil them so that you can discover yourself the real reason why they are donated.
Then the chaos started on the Sunnyside day care center. Again, most of your expectations are incorrect about this supposed to be toy-friendly place. Fun and chaos emerged on different scenes, and may I repeat that those funny moments are simply orchestrated yet very effective. Those unforgettable scenes include Ken and Barbie’s moments, Mr. Potato in a cucumber and a Flamenco Buzz Lightyear!
Next is the escape part of the movie wherein Woody and friends will attempt to get back to Andy before his departure time. This is the most intense part of the movie and I can say that their escape plan is a bit clever for a toy! The rest is history and a must see. You’ll really enjoy it.
The last part is Andy’s departure. When he was reminiscing his past with the toys, I was affected. It was really touching and if you are really a Toy Story fan, you will be sad thinking that this franchise will come to an end. You will also remember as an audience the moments that you spent when you watched Toy Story 1 and 2 and everything is emotional.
If in case it will be the farewell movie for the Toy Story franchise then I can confidently say that it is indeed a very memorable one and most, if not all, viewers will surely miss this series.
