Here are the spoiler photos of Warehouse 13 season 4 premiere “A New Hope” which will air on July 23.
Plain. This is how I will describe episode 10 of Warehouse 13 season 3 titled “Insatiable.” It was an ordinary episode for me and I can surely forget it after a week.
TV Fanatic: The redeemable qualities were, to be honest, few and far between, while some character actions simply didn’t make sense.
The plot twist about the “zombie” bites being completely harmless may have been interesting to some, along with the fact that tip jar on the taco truck made the tippers flesh craving mad… the rest of the case felt too much like a “me too!” scenario in regards to zombies (and, to a lesser extent, vampires) that are making the rounds across TV and film.
Which would be fine had something happened to make it enjoyable. But other than Artie’s slightly awkward and mostly touching interaction with that little boy, as well as Pete and Myka’s promise of putting an end to one another if things got out of hand, there was very little of value. It was mostly just filler.
Still, there were plenty of Claudia one-liners (this junkie got a good fix) served. On top of that, Claudia’s story was the highlight of “Insatiable,” as she was struggling to come to terms with her slowly dissolving friendship with Steve and her apparent mark for death.
It was touching to watch her continually pursue Steve, even though Mrs. Frederick burned him. My name is Steve Jinks. I used to be a Warehouse agent until… sorry wrong show, but that would be kinda cool, right? Anyways, Claudia’s inability to let go of her BFFE was wonderful.
For far too long Claudia has been forced to be the adult among childish adults. Now, we get to watch some of that childhood she lost come back to the surface.
As for Steve, I wasn’t sure what to think about his minor role. Mostly because I’m still questioning what his endgame is. Does he want more information about Marcus and his employer? Does he want to become a mole? Maybe use his human lie detector ability on a bad guy? Seriously, why isn’t he using his lie detector abilities on these bad guys? It would save a lot of us from so much guesswork.

It is really hard to come back from a spectacular episode. But at least, “Shadows” is a decent episode and I was satisfied with it.
TV Fanatic: After finding out that Jane was Pete’s mother, it was a bit of a letdown to not see and learn more of her in the flashback. Sure, it was nice and emotional to learn why she chose to be a Warehouse Agent/Regent, but there was a definite disconnect between the writing and the scene. It could have been due a different actor playing a younger version of Mulgrew’s character.
More than anything, though, I blame young Pete and Jane. We know the two of them grew increasingly distant after his father’s death and we know everyone Pete has cared for in the past has left him. Still, didn’t this disconnect happen too suddenly? Jane does not seem like the type of mother, Warehouse Agent or not, saver of the world or not, to pull away so quickly.
Thankfully, some of those concerns were allayed watching Jane tear up when Pete’s father told him why they do what they do. The same goes for seeing Jane tell Pete how important he is to her. I don’t agree with how everything was portrayed in the past, but that small moment between the two of them was beautiful (and funny, in typical Warehouse fashion).
The Artifact of the Week didn’t have any overlap with the mythology, yet it was a fun romp with just the women of the show. Plus, Claudia one-liners are a drug for me, and there was plenty of them here. Most of all, we were treated to insight on Claudia. She had finally found a true friend in her own age group with Steve and he was fired, something she was against and was willing to argue with Artie over.

Undoubtedly “The 40th Floor” is one of the best episodes of Warehouse 13.
Just when it looked like the installment was done lobbing bombshells, we were faced with another one. This conclusion could easily have been mistaken for a season finale.
TV Fanatic: But let’s back up I have so many questions:
Why are the Regents necessary to protect the Warehouses? What happens if the cuffs Jane received happened to be damaged or destroyed? Obviously, the cuffs are needed as a last line of defense because Marcus, whoever he is and whatever he’s doing, has his own artifacts to wage his war with the Warehouses. But what do they do?
What happens to Steve now? If Myka can be used as a past example, leaving the Warehouse doesn’t exactly stick. Not to mention Jane said Warehouse personnel are destined to serve, but my worry wasn’t when or how Steve comes back. It was this: where will his be head be? Steve is a by-the-book, follow-orders type of person.
He went against those principals to uphold an even greater one here: no torture. Where can he go now? Will he still be by the book or will he veer closer to Claudia’s side and insubordinate like it’s going out of style?
Like I said, so many questions.
The biggest bombshell was easily Myka finding out that Jane is Pete’s mother. I certainly didn’t see that coming. In fact, it didn’t look like Pete saw it coming, either. What does that mean for Pete? Actually, what does that mean for everyone? Heading back to “Trials,” Pete mentioned after his dad died his mom stayed busy and he didn’t see her very much. Does this mean the Warehouse is a family business for the Latimers? It looks like it.

Episode 7 of Warehouse 13 gave us more of Myka, again. The episode showed her journey back to being an agent and in her redemption. “Past Imperfect” was more about the latter.
TV Fanatic: Myka has a lot of weight on her shoulders. One of the main reasons she decided to take the job as a Warehouse agent was because of Sam’s death. Because of Sam, Myka erected walls and closed off her emotions. She became cautious and analytical.
For Myka, closure regarding Sam allows her to truly begin healing and moving forward in her personal and professional lives.
Although I honestly don’t care when (if ever) Pete and Myka get together. I’m 99% sure we’ll get something before this season is over. There have been too many hints and callbacks. Both Pete and Myka have gotten closure on their past loves, they’ve helped each other emotionally and there’s been plenty of try-too-hard friendship moments.
Elsewhere, Steven and Claudia were relegated to a rather small artifact hunt this week, but we did receive some crucial information that pushed the ongoing plot forward: Agent Stukowski was the one who attacked them and stole their artifact. It feels like the reveal was one episode late because Steve, for some reason, couldn’t tell she was lying last week.
I’m curious where things go from here for Stukowski and whoever she’s working for. Is it someone we’ve already met? There seems to be a lot more in terms of flashbacks this season and I have to wonder if that means something. Will Stukowski offer more redemption for HG?
In the end, this episode left us lots of questions. Did you like it?

I know you too have lots of questions in your mind. Blame “Don’t Hate the Player” for that!
TV Fanatic: I wasn’t sure just how well the video game theme could be pulled off, but Warehouse 13 is definitely the show to try it, mainly because it was another chance to see some of the agents’ fears come to life, especially for Claudia. Also, I loved the first person perspective scenes. They were a brilliant move.
As we know, Claudia has always been trying to distance herself from her mental institution past. In some ways, being a Warehouse agent has been the perfect job for her. Except for those few people she sees every day and on missions she doesn’t need to venture out of her comfort zone. She doesn’t need to show those old wounds to people.
So for those wounds to be shown to everyone she cares about in the video game? That was a big deal for her. But it finally gave her some of the closure she was seeking. I was happy for her because it was something that really haunted her for such a long time. Especially when most of the pain she went through during that time wasn’t even her own fault.
I was also hoping to see what Pete and Myka’s fears were, but I can understand why the attention was on Claudia.
As for Artie and Steve, I have so many questions about Agent Stukowski and who she works for. The Van Gough painting with those tracking bugs was genius. But what was their purpose? Obviously, they want to know what’s in the Warehouse, but is her boss a rival collector? Just a power bent evildoer? Why couldn’t Steve tell if she was lying to them?

Undoubtedly, “3…2…1″ gave us some signs in Warehouse 13. What are they? Read below.
TV Fanatic: A hookup between Pete and Myka? Maybe. A lot of the signs seem to point in that direction, don’t they?
We had the flashbacks with Jack and Rebecca, who decided to explore where they could go together, despite the rather significant odds they faced of being killed. Then there was H.G. and Wally (R.I.P. Ianto), who also displayed some serious sparks.
(By the way, I would kill for a spin-off that features Jack and Rebecca over H.G. any day.)
“3…2…1…” was supposed to offer some redemption for Wells and I could definitely see some of it. However, a lot of what she was doing ended up being pompous and annoying. She’s brilliant, she was a great agent, and she always has a plan. Great qualities, but why make smug remarks? They rubbed me the wrong way.
Thankfully, much of the episode was about Pete and his lingering insecurities about Myka. Which were mainly due to H.G. The resolution between all three of them was a great moment of growth in rebuilding Pete and Myka’s relationship.
Pete was finally able to fully put his trust in Myka again. Even if that required him to put his trust in a woman that tried to “activate a super volcano with a giant fork.” It was a big moment for Pete because he has a hard time moving on from people who leave. With the past fully sorted out, they can move forward again with their partnership.
Overall, I like this episode personally. And you?

Kate Mulgrew is coming to Warehouse 13.
The veteran actress (Mercy, Star Trek: Voyager) will appear on four episodes of SyFy’s highest-rated series as Jane, a woman “a very important Regent,” according to creator Jack Kenny.
“Her first episode (“The 40th Floor,” airing August 29), will make her relationship to the Warehouse and everyone in it vital,” Kenny said. “And for the next three episodes that Kate is in, we’ll learn a lot more about how the Regents are chosen, how they affect the Warehouse, and in particular how Jane will have a very strong impact on Pete and Myka.”

Talk about an episode where we loved Claudia even more! “Queen for a Day” is one of the funniest episodes so far.
TV Fanatic: From the Laverne & Shirley running gag to Claudia’s Damsel-in-Distress-Princess-looking outfit, I was hoping the hour wouldn’t end. Steve and Claudia have undeniable chemistry and it was an absolute joy to watch.
I only wish the comedy could have lasted a little longer. But when the laughter stopped, it allowed us to get a sneak peek into Steve’s mysterious past. We learned a lot more about his sister.
I know I’ve said this before, but watching him open up to Claudia about his sister and what she was like before she died from a stray bullet really felt like Jack and Jen from Dawson’s Creek.
It’s the classic example of two people from different pasts and walks of life who form a lifelong bond and affection for one another. I’m a total sucker for these stories and I can’t wait to see where it goes. It’s something Artie sees, too, as he looked on smiling at his agents.
Speaking of pasts, we got a small glimpse into Pete’s: He was married. I was looking for more from Amanda, hoping she would reveal more than what we was offered about Pete and his background. Unfortunately, what we mostly got was more of the same with Pete’s alcoholism.
But I can’t discount that completely because it did open up a little bit more about Pete. He was ashamed of who he was back then. He wasn’t sure where he wanted to go in life, he rushed into a marriage, and he was an alcoholic trying to sink those feelings. Most people would want to keep that past buried.
Those feelings also tied back to Pete and his abandonment issues. If he couldn’t make it with Amanda and she left him, what’s to say he can do his part to make it work a second time?
However, Amanda did say she made plenty of her own mistakes. He’s a very different man now than he was back then. He’s found a place where he belongs, instead of drinking in isolation. He has a job that he loves and knows where he wants to go in life. He’s built a surrogate family that he just didn’t have before. Maybe now that Pete has finally finished making all of his amends for his past he can finally move on with someone.
