Breaking 90210 casting news: Gillian Zinser will not be a part of 90210‘s fifth season, according to TV Line.
The casting news should come as little surprise considering Ivy was last seen running away to Mexico with her soon-to-be deported boyfriend, Diego, in the show’s season finale.
It’s entirely possible Zinser could return as a guest star at some point, but an insider tells us that’s unlikely given how neatly her storyline wrapped up.

Liam and Navid get in a fight over Silver, not realizing that everyone in the show has slept with Silver at one time or another.
Meanwhile, Ivy (Gillian Zinser) whines and mopes and blames Annie and Caleb for her problems. And despite all my snark, I’m still watching.

Billy Ray Cyrus will guest star in this episode.
Navid (Michael Steger) suspects that Liam (Matt Lanter) and Silver (Jessica Stroup) hooked up so he decides to confront Liam on the red carpet of a movie premiere. Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Caleb (guest star Robert Hoffman) fight their attraction to one another but finally give into temptation. Meanwhile, Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) has been hired to plan the wedding of an heiress and discovers she knows the groom a little too well, and Austin (guest star Justin Deeley) enlists his dad, Judd Ridge (guest star Billy Ray Cyrus) to be help launch Adrianna’s (Jessica Lowndes) country career.

A reluctant Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) tries to sabotage the bachelorette party she has to host for Max’s (guest star Josh Zuckerman) fiancée Madison (guest star Caitlin Thompson), where Madison’s childhood crush, Nick Carter, makes a surprise appearance. At Max’s bachelor party, Liam (Matt Lanter) and Navid (Michael Steger) get into a fight over Silver (Jessica Stroup) and the evening comes to an end with people at both parties getting hauled to jail. Meanwhile, Ivy (Gillian Zinser) blames Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Caleb (guest star Robert Hoffman) for Diego (guest star Yani Gellman) having to go on the run.
