We will be seeing a determined, brave and fierce Neville Longbottom. The latest character poster of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 featuring him tells it all.

Neville’s never been part of the core group fighting Voldemort, but his loyalty to Harry has never faltered and he has been there through everything with Harry.  He is, perhaps, the most dependable of all of Harry’s followers.  We love him for it!

Any comment on his poster?

More The Hunger Games casting news. Now, it’s time to meet Cinna.

Lenny Kravitz has won the role of the young, flamboyant fashion stylist.

Kravitz most recently appeared on the big screen in Precious, which was the deciding factor for Hunger Games director Gary Ross.

“When I saw Lenny’s work in Precious I was just knocked out,” the director said about his latest actor. “It was quiet and strong and understated and open hearted; all qualities which define this character.  I’m really looking forward to this ride.”

Cinna is Katniss’ fashion stylist for the ceremonial lead up to the 74th Annual Hunger Games.  It is his first year as a stylist, but he creates the design of a “girl on fire” for the live televised debut that is unforgettable.   This design defines Katniss’ public identity and it ends up helping her in the games.

The Hunger Games will hit the big screen on March 23, 2012.

It all ends 7.15!

Here is the latest Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 poster featuring Harry himself.  This gritty close-up of Harry in the midst of battle shows the intensity of that final battle scene.

This is a great poster, in my opinion. It also looks like Harry gained weight, or is it just in this poster?

The final installment of the series is directed by David Yates and is set to hit theaters on July 15, 2011.  It stars, for the final time together, Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley, and Emma Watson as Hermione Granger.

The epic final installment of the beloved series find Harry in the ultimate battle between good and evil.  Harry, Ron, and Hermione have been looking for horcruxes to save Voldemort, but Harry might have make the ultimate sacrifice as the showdown between the two enemies draws closer.

Lionsgate has announced that Latarsha Rose and Brooke Bundy will play Portia and Octavia, respectively on The Hunger Games.

Portia is Peeta’s stylist in the book, while Octavia is a member of Katniss’ prep team.  They play a huge role in making Peeta and Katniss favorites in the first ‘Hunger Games.’

Again, director Gary Ross has cast relative newcomers to the roles.  Rose has appeared in a small television roles and Bundy has had small parts in short films.

It will be interesting to see how this cast of newcomers work together and bring the beloved Suzanne Collins’ novel to the big screen.

According to reports, Israeli actor Alon Aboutboul will play the role of an evil mad scientist on Dark Knight Rises.

The still above shows Alon Aboutboul’s appearance on Fringe.

Batman-on-Film points out this article at Xnet that claims Aboutboul — a 45-year-old actor whose stateside film credits include Body of Lies, Munich, The Order and Rambo III — will portray “a particularly evil mad scientist.” The site claims that the casting news was apparently confirmed in a tweet by Aboutboul’s wife, director Shir Bilya. (Warner Bros. had not responded to IGN’s request for confirmation or denial at time of publish.)

Obviously, many fanboys have jumped to the conclusion that this evil mad scientist could be the long-rumored Professor Hugo Strange. While there’s no Bat-fan more eager than me to have Hugo Strange in the film, I don’t think that’s the scientist Aboutboul is said to be playing. He could just as easily be involved with Bane and the Venom that fuels him, or perhaps he works for Ra’s Al Ghul. He could also be an entirely original creation.

Aboutboul has appeared on TV series including Fringe (as Dr. Armand Silva in the episode “Immortality”), Castle, NCIS and The Mentalist. His overseas film credits include his award-winning turns in Out of the Blue and Nina’s Tragedies.

Any idea on the identity of the said scientist?
