Franklin & Bash season 2 will premiere on June 5. Below you will see the official press release and spoiler photos of FnB season 2.
TNT’s hit buddy legal drama series Franklin & Bash returns to the courtroom for a second season. Debuting June 5, the series starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer will air Tuesdays at 10pm (ET/PT) following TNT’s Rizzoli & Isles. Fans can stay up to speed on the latest Franklin & Bash news online at www.tnt.tv/series/franklinandbash and via Twitter @FrankandBashTNT.
In its first season, Franklin & Bash introduced viewers to Jared Franklin (Meyer) and Peter Bash (Gosselaar), two young, fly-by-the-seat-of-their-pants street lawyers who caused a seismic culture clash when they joined a legendary, button-down law firm. Jared loves sticking it to authority every chance he gets. Peter, meanwhile, has a knack for connecting with judge and jury any way he can. Malcolm McDowell plays Renaissance man Stanton Infeld, the brilliant and eccentrically spontaneous patriarch of the law firm. Also starring are Reed Diamond, Dana Davis, Garcelle Beauvais, Kumail Nanjiani.
As the second season of Franklin & Bash opens, Peter and Jared are forced to tackle a little more responsibility. After being accused of misconduct, they begin to question the loyalty of colleagues, as well as question if they are staying true to who they really are. They now face a number of truly daunting tasks to ensure partner status at Infeld-Daniels and we find out the real reason Infeld hired them.
As Franklin & Bash delves more deeply into the characters personal lives this season, viewers will be introduced to ex-wives, parents and new love interests played by an impressive list of award winning guest stars. Among them, Kevin Nealon (Weeds) plays an offbeat executive the boys need to sign in order to move upward in the firm. And, Martin Mull (Two and a Half Men) plays a judge subjected to their most recent, outlandish court escapade: a death-defying water tank stunt.
Also appearing this season, Peter’s freewheeling, indecisive, “Earth Mom” Colleen Bash, played by Jane Seymour (Wedding Crashers), meddles in her son’s current love affair with a cop, played by Kat Foster (‘Til Death). Jared also gets a taste of family and love when he winds up in court up against estranged father Leonard Franklin, played by Beau Bridges (The Second Civil War). Jared also meets a love interest played by Shiri Appleby (Roswell, Life Unexpected) as a smart, sweet and sassy associate of a senior partner at Infeld-Daniels charged with investigating our heroes.
Nothing can prepare Peter and Jared, however, for the most unusual challenge of their career: defending one of Infeld’s many ex-wives, played by Cybill Shepherd (Cybill). To make matters even more complicated, they will have do so by facing off against Jango & Rossi, the B-list version of themselves: Eric Jango, played by Seth Green and Ed Rossi played by Eric Mabius (Ugly Betty).
Chris Klein (American Pie) will guest-star as a charismatic politician and old high school buddy of Peter’s, and Paul Schulze (Nurse Jackie) will play Klein’s campaign manager. Rick Fox (He Got Game), Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings), Peter Weller (Robocop), Boris Kodjoe (Resident Evil: Retribution) and Kimberly Caldwell (American Idol) will also join the cast of guest stars.
Franklin & Bash drew 3.9 million viewers during its first season, ranking among basic cable’s most popular new series of the summer. The show also averaged an outstanding 1.8 million adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.
Franklin & Bash is produced by Four Sycamore Productions, Left Coast Productions and FanFare Productions in association with Sony Pictures Television. Franklin & Bash is executive-produced by Jamie Tarses (Mr. Sunshine and Mad Love), Jason Ensler (The West Wing, Chuck), Kevin Falls (Journeyman, The West Wing) and Bill Chais (Shark, Dirty Sexy Money).

Shiri Appleby is coming to Franklin & Bash season 2.
The former CW star – who currently anchors a Web series titled Dating Rules from My Future Self – will appear on multiple episodes of this TNT program’s second season, the actress herself Tweeted yesterday, writing:
“Do you think I’m a Franklin or Bash kinda girl?”
Appleby will portray an associate of an Infeld-Daniels senior partner, who finds herself in trouble when she develops feelings for Breckin Meyer’s Jared.

This is a great way to end season 1 of Franklin & Bash. What happened on the season 1 finale?
How funny was Stanton Infeld in jail? He was rockin’ a ski cap, learning the Crips and Bloods yard schedules and leading prisonyard Tai Chi classes. Loved it.
Did you notice how Karp agreed with Franklin and Bash more in this episode than in any other? I was a little shocked how quickly Peter defended Damien’ skills as a lawyer, and equally surprised he was able to form coherent sentences while ogling Brett in her gorgeous bra and panties.
Yes, while all the guys were checking out Brett, I was basically lingerie shopping.
Truly, it was nice to see the boys start to gel as a team but, really, how funny would the group hug have been?
Who knew Peter would completely freak out over seeing a corpse while Jared would be completely composed? And on what other show could you find an Encino Man reference that worked?
Nice to see Jared get the girl even though her father busted him for staring at her. Definitely some points in Jared’s favor that he wasn’t scared off by big, ugly, masked wrestlers and a bonus for having turned a wrestling move tutorial into a first kiss.
Even the wrestling story was kind of heartwarming, in a completely unexpected way, as Jared was adorable, torn between hitting on the daughter and saving his boss.
The only disappointment was that we didn’t get to see Pindar in his Hannah Montana outfit. Excuse me, make that his Miley Cyrus costume because in Pindar’s world, somehow that’s better.
Franklin & Bash gave us a bachelor party in episode 9.
TV Fanatic: Talk about great casting. Janie certainly has a type. When Peter and Nathan sat together in the hot tub, I had to do a double take because they looked so similar.
I expected Peter to hate Nathan and vice versa, but in a unique twist, the two actually got along. These are both nice guys. Janie has good taste in men.
Unfortunately, she can only keep one of them and I’m torn over what I want to see happen next.
Peter seemed to believe that Janie was happy with Nathan and encouraged Nathan to take the plunge. But even Nathan saw the spark between Peter and Janie. Can Peter really just walk away?
If he does, that opens up a world of possibilities for future love interests for Peter, which could be a lot of fun. On the flip side, there’s a lot of story potential for a Peter and Janie love connection. She’s an ADA. Jared’s not all that fond of her. That could make for some great continued conflict.
The other half of the Franklin & Bash team had his own issues with which to deal. Jared was defending a cute teacher accused of sleeping with her student. In the process, he was faced with his own high school demons. Apparently, his penchant for getting into trouble was nothing new, as witnessed in this conversation with the school’s Dean.
Jared: Every school had cheerleader car washes.
Dean: Where the cheerleaders washed the cars not where you washed the cheerleaders.
And only on Franklin & Bash would an attorney’s knowledge of porn help save his client. I may never look at a flute the same way again.

Let’s have fun because we will see Franklin & Bash again next summer for season 2.
The network announced today that the freshman series, which averages close to four million viewers per week, has been picked up for a second season.
“This summer, Franklin & Bash has broken out as a hugely entertaining series with great characters, sharp writing and a terrific cast,” said Michael Wright, executive vice president, head of programming, for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies. “We’re thrilled that the show has drawn such a remarkably strong following and look forward to bringing it back next summer.”

This episode titled “The Bangover” showed us how Franklin & Bash love sex.
If the innuendo’s not flying, then the clothing is. If they’re not having sex, they’re talking about the fantasy sex they want to have. Like Scarlett Johansson on a desert island.
“The Bangover” was all about danger sex. Peter couldn’t stay away from Infeld’s niece Lily. I was surprised that Jared reminded him that Infeld’s been good to them and perhaps he should refrain from bedding the attractive law student.
Peter gave abstinence a shot but it didn’t last long. Add the lure of danger sex with a more than willing and beautiful partner and Peter never stood a chance.
In the end, his inability to control his raging hormones was what got Lily sent back home to England instead of thrown in jail.
The sparks between Peter and Janey were still evident as she couldn’t hide her jealousy. And I couldn’t help but believe that when Peter talked about the difference between just having sex, and having sex with someone you love, that he was speaking of Janey.
Or perhaps I’m just a hopeless romantic.
Carmen had her own issues. Apparently the sex with ex-boyfriend Dante was so addictive it was worth violating her parole.
To be honest, that side story did nothing for me. Dante seemed way more trouble than he was worth but then again, I wasn’t the one having sex with him so I could be missing something there.
Of course the episode is not all about sex, I enjoyed the lightsaber scene too.
So what are your thoughts about this episode? Did you enjoy it?

What the heck with this episode of Franklin & Bash titled “Franklin vs. Bash.” I enjoyed watching two gorgeous guys, pole dancing, and Lady Gaga’s gum.
TV Fanatic: With Franklin going up against Bash, the innuendo flew as they battled one another for their pole dancing clients. To wit:
Franklin: Well, girls, our job is no different than yours. We’re here to get you off.
With “Franklin vs. Bash,” we got the fun of watching these two friends go from volleying Van Halen song titles in their opening arguments to tearing one another apart when their insecurities boil over.
They both secretly think the other is the better lawyer and it’s too darn cute. Having pole dancing instructors for clients should capture all of their attention, but when the boys have to go head to head their fragile little egos can’t take it.
Only Franklin & Bash can walk the line of inappropriate and do it so well that I can’t do anything but laugh. Again, an example:
Bash: How was it really any different than any other book club meeting?
Ms. Elliott: We don’t usually get naked and do tequila shots off each others breasts.
That must be one hell of a book club.
I started watching this show for Mark-Paul Gosslaar and he hasn’t disappointed. He’s charming, hot, likable, and has his shirt off in almost every episode. Certainly no complaints there.
But Brekin Meyer has really won me over, too. In the pilot, I found Jared Franklin a little too cocky and annoying – but each week I’ve liked him more and more. From his barely hidden insecurities to his bad little boy gleam in his eye, Meyer has made Jared great fun to watch.
We see Jared rattle off the contents of his safety deposit box here: an old Wrestlemania VHS tape where Reba sang the National Anthem (“it was angelic”), a piece of Lady Gaga’s gum and the program from his high school production of Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat where he played the butler.
