One of the confirmed villains on the Spider-man reboot is Lizard. Now, let us see an interesting photo of the Lizard care of IGN.

Some interesting photos have been taken of Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man, with Superhero Hype featuring a gallery in with the actor has a scaly prosthetic on his neck.

This week we’ve been spoilt with intriguing pictures from the the set, with Ifans sporting a stocking on his right hand, in a fetching shade of CGI-manipulable green.

While his inevitable lab-coat shredding mutation into The Lizard will almost certainly be realised digitally, this latest picture suggests that at least the early stages of his tragic transformation will use practical effects.

Ifans plays Dr. Curt Connors, a brilliant scientist who attempts to regenerate his right arm by combining his DNA with that of a lizard.

So what are your thoughts on this one?

Here comes another big name for The Hunger Games.
According to the latest reports, Stanley Tucci will star in the upcoming Gary Ross’ adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ worldwide smash hit novel that we already wrote about.
That way, Tucci will join the cast that already includes Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Wes Bentley and Elizabeth Banks.
Directed by Gary Ross, and produced by Nina Jacobson’s Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik, The Hunger Games story goes like this:
“Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games. Part twisted entertainment, part government intimidation tactic, the Hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which “Tributes” must fight with one another until one survivor remains.
Pitted against highly-trained Tributes who have prepared for these Games their entire lives, Katniss is forced to rely upon her sharp instincts as well as the mentorship of drunken former victor Haymitch Abernathy. If she’s ever to return home to District 12, Katniss must make impossible choices in the arena that weigh survival against humanity and life against love.”
Thanks to the official announcement we know that Tucci is set to play character named Caesar Flickerman and here’s a little description:
“Caesar Flickerman is utterly familiar to all the citizens of Panem as the l host of the Hunger Games. Known for his outrageous appearance and buoyant personality, his upbeat interviews of the 24 tributes – a boy and a girl from each of the country’s 12 districts – are presented on every television in the nation.
He is famous for turning any conversation around to the positive and finding humor in even the most dire circumstances.”
The Hunger Games will hit the big screen on March 23, 2012.
Any reaction about Tucci’s inclusion?

The Dark Knight Rises production will start anytime though no date was officially released, and according to reports, Christian Bale will have lots of solo scene which the fans should watch out.

But according to The Times of India, The Dark Knight Rises will start filming not later than May 6 in Jodhpur, India. Nolan’s production team will only consist of 15 crew members and one actor, title star Christian Bale.

The plot of TDKR is still a mystery so it’s impossible to know what Nolan and Bale will be shooting in India. Nolan has previously made several references to wanting to wrap up the storyline begun in Batman Begins, which could be referring to Bruce Wayne’s (Bale) journey to becoming Batman. In Batman Begins, Wayne travels to the Far East and becomes a thief—ironically, he is arrested for stealing boxes of goods from Wayne Industries, the company he owns—to learn how criminals think and act. While in prison, he is recruited by Ra’s al Ghul, as Henri Ducard (Liam Neeson), to join the League of Shadows and learn the ways of the warrior. Given Nolan’s desire to wrap up the storyline, it would make sense then if the India scene showed more of Wayne’s journey to becoming Batman as a way to tie the movies together.

Dark Knight Rises will hit the big screens on July 20, 2012.

Here is the latest casting news for The Hobbit. Everyone, meet the actors playing the roles of Fili and Elven King Thranduil.

Dean O’Gorman will play the dwarf Fili, replacing Rob Kazinsky who had to drop out of the movie because of “personal reasons.”

Dean’s a terrific Kiwi actor, who I am thrilled to be working with. He’s recently been in an excellent TV series down here called The Almighty Johnsons, and I should let fans of that show know that our shooting schedule allows Dean to continue with a second series next year. Dean will be joining us next week.

Jackson also announced Lee Pace has been cast to play the Elven King Thranduil. Lee played Ned the pie maker in the TV series Pushing Daisies and has a role in the two-part Breaking Dawn.

Casting these Tolkien stories is very difficult, especially the Elven characters, and Lee has always been our first choice for Thranduil. He’s going to be great. We loved his performance in a movie called The Fall a few years ago, and have been hoping to work with him since. When we were first discussing who would be right for Thranduil, Lee came into mind almost immediately.

Hulk has sure appearance in The Avengers. However, the question now is whether he’ll be a friend or foe. What do you think?

Bruce Banner himself, Mark Ruffalo, recently told MTV what Smashes With Purple Pants is up to.

“He has an interesting thing with Black Widow, actually,” Ruffalo said. “And him and Tony Stark are… You know, he’s like the fallen angel version of Tony Stark. He was the renegade professor who was kind of a rebel, arrogant, kind of doing things that were unorthodox. There’s a real admiration between the two of them that’s interesting, and Tony Stark really enjoys the idea of watching this guy turn into The Hulk. So he’s nudging him in an interesting sort of way. There’s a lot of nice, fun play between the two of them.”

Ruffalo, on Jimmy Kimmel Live, let slip what the rest of the team thinks about Hulk.

“He’s like the teammate none of them are sure they want on their team. He’s a loose cannon. It’s like, ‘Just throw a grenade in the middle of the group and let’s hope it turns out well!”

We’ve got the latest rumor spoiler for The Hunger Games. According to sources, Woody Harrelson, Lenny Kravitz and Stanley Tucci are on talks in joining the cast of the Suzanne Collins novel.

Apparently, Woody Harrelson has been offered the role of Seneca Crane, Head Gamemaker of the Hunger Games.

Then we have Stanely Tucci, who NY Mag speculates could be Cinna or President Snow.

As for Lenny Kravitz – we still have no idea, but we’re definitely going to keep an eye on it.

Let me remind you that by now we have Jennifer Lawrence set to star as the titular character, Katniss Everdeen. Her little sister will be Willow Shields, Liam Hemsworth will play Gale Hawthorne, Josh Hutcherson is going to be Peeta Mellark, Amanda Stenberg and Dayo Okeniyi are set to portray characters named Rue and Thresh.

On the other hand, Elizabeth Banks is set to play Effie Trinket, a pink-haired showbiz type who becomes the handler of Katniss, while Paula Malcomson is Mrs. Everdeen.

And, for the end, here’s the official synopsis: “The Hunger Games is a worldwide fan phenomenon, the novel having been on the New York Times best seller list for over 130 consecutive weeks.

The film chronicles Katniss Everdeen’s defiant struggle to survive in a future dystopia where The Capitol requires its twelve subjugated districts to atone for their onetime insurrection through the annual “Hunger Games,” a fight-to-the-death event held in a fantastical man made arena.

Although persevering through extreme hardship is commonplace for the audacious heroine, she is forced to make choices that weigh survival against humanity and life against love in order to win the games and return home to District 12.”
