Boardwalk Empire Season 3 Casting Spoiler: Stephen Root as Special Investigator

Stephen Root has landed an interesting role in Boardwalk Empire season 3.

 

 

Root has signed on for the impending third season of HBO’s Boardwalk Empire. The Live Feed reports that Root is set for a recurring role as “a forger, swindler, and murder suspect who became a Special Investigator for the US Department of Justice.” No word on whether or not his character has the potential to become a regular.
