After revealing the Coup d’Etat trio and Goya’s wife who will really affect the fourth season of Chuck, here is another spoiler for you – a mysterious stranger is coming. A stranger played by a new guest star named Dalton. Yes, he is Timothy Dalton.
The actor, best known for portraying James Bond in two of that franchise’s lesser-known films (The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill) will come aboard the NBC series this fall in a role the network only describes as “a mysterious stranger who has a history with Chuck’s mom.”
For those who are hiding under a rock, Chuck’s mom is another new character into this series. Linda Hamilton will play the said role.
“We’ve wanted to have him on the show since season one,” said producer Josh Schwartz, shooting down talk that Dalton might portray Chuck’s real father. “When we came up with this part, we thought he’d be perfect. So we sent him [some episodes], he dug it, and then we started talking.”
It’s unknown how many episodes Dalton has signed on for, but he’ll debut on this season’s seventh installment “Chuck Versus the First Fight.”
A bevy of big names have been added as Chuck guest stars over the last few weeks. They include: Dolph Lundgren, Olivia Munn, Isaiah Mustafa, Stacy Keibler, Nicole Richie and, most recently, a former WWE champion, Batista.
