After the “Jason thing” news on Pretty Little Liars season 2, the show has recast one important role.

Earlier this week, Pretty Little Liars producer Marlene King teased a new love interest for Aria as someone viewers have “met before.” And that’s mostly true, but there will be a twist:

The show has recast the role of Jason DiLaurentis. It will be played on season two by Drew Van Acker, who gets awfully cozy with Lucy Hale’s character.

“He plays a dark and mysterious guy, and he taps into Aria’s dark and mysterious side,” King told E! News. “She used to be what we call ‘Goth-lite’ in flashbacks, he kind of taps into that, he remembers Aria in her pink hair and the person she used to be, and they kind of connect in that way.”

Look for Jason to be residing in Maya’s old house next season, right next door to Emily.

The season 2 premiere of Covert Affairs aired last week, but now we have something for you. Below you can check the spoiler for episode 7 titled “Half a World Away.” This episode airs on July 19.

Christoper Gorham has teased the upcoming installment to Entertainment Weekly, telling the publication that we’ll see his character of Auggie “out of the office” that week. Way out of the office.

“He’s on vacation in Istanbul for this big international jazz festival, and we end up doing flashbacks to Iraq before he lost his sight,” Gorham says. “We have the big reveal – finally the truth about how he lost his sight. There’s some romance in that episode for him as well. It’s a great episode.”

The more Auggie the better right? He is such a fantastic character and I really want to see more of him. What do you think?

We are all waiting for some Nikita season 2 updates. Now Maggie Q shares some things to ponder before Septermber. Read below.

Asked by E! News at the Monte Carlo TV Festival what viewers can expect when her show returns (on Friday nights) this fall, the star made it enticingly clear:

“We are going to see more relationship stuff for her, which is great because, you know, she’s got to get laid, too.”

Michael, you’re a lucky man.

Outside the bedroom, Maggie Q says we’ll delve more into the title character’s past, as well.

“We are going to finally see some backstory on her because we were actually able to avoid that in the first season. It was incredible how we actually managed to get around that. In the second season we’re going to get into it and it’s going to be really fun. I mean the stuff that they have planned is great.”

Pretty Little Liars season 2 is just days aways. What can we expect? Read the spoilers below.

Here are the spoilers given by creator Marlene King through TV Guide:

What’s the deal with Jason? During the premiere, Jenna and Garret will mention Alison’s brother. “A lot of the summer season is built around what is the Jason thing, how are Jenna and Garrett involved and how does it involve the PLLs,” King says. We’ll soon meet Jason, played by Drew Van Acker.

More new characters. “Lucas sets his eyes on someone, and it’s not Hanna, so that’s a new person coming into Rosewood,” King says. “There’s also a great storyline with Hanna’s mom and dad. Hanna’s dad comes back because he’s concerned that she’s winding up on the front page of the Rosewood Observer.

As for Ezra and Aria… It will be “even harder” for these two with Ezra teaching someplace else, King teases. Aside from the already-previewed love triangle, Aria will also have a new suitor. Says King: “It’s someone that you really don’t expect it to be, someone you’ve met, but you’re going to re-meet.”

Background on Caleb: “We find out more about why he came to Rosewood, what he left behind and more about his birth mother,” King says. We also meet Caleb’s foster mother. Don’t expect to like her.

We all know that there lots of hanging questions left by True Blood season 4. So will there be answers on season 4? Definitely! You can check some below.

TV Fanatic: When we last left Sam Merlotte, he was holding a gun to his brother’s head.

How will this development play out on season four of True Blood? Spoiler alert, Sam Trammell told me this week, Tommy survives.

“Tommy is there,” the actor said. “We still don’t know whether I shot him or not. But he’s definitely around.”

What about the rest of Sam’s family, who viewers met last year? They “come back to haunt me,” Trammell teased. “I can’t quite escape them.”

While Sam’s past won’t leave him alone this summer, his future will be consumed by a new love interest: a shape-shifter named Luna, played by Janina Gavankar.

“She’s part of a new shape shifter community that I meet,” Trammell said to me. “We explore the shape-shifting mythology a lot this season and flesh out more details as far as the role of shape-shifting in the world. We’ll meet others like Sam.”

This ought to sound familiar to readers of Charlaine Harris’ novels, on which True Blood is based. Trammell says to include him in that group, as he finds the author “incredible” and says he read the first few books in her series immediately after he was cast because he was just so excited about the role.

Viewers have come to feel the same way over the years. Trammell says he first realized the massive popularity of the show when the cast showed up for Comic-Con after season one and the crowd was twice what it had been 12 months earlier.

That figure doubled again a year later.

“You feel like you’re The Rolling Stones or something walking out on that stage,” he said of the experience at the event.

Hawaii Five-O is one successful show last year. So what will the show offer us on season 2?

Here are the things to expect on Hawaii Five-O season 2:

  • A new Governor who is “sort of more realistic and is going to draw the line… he may give the unit jurisdiction, but maybe not the immunity and means they had last season.”
  • A new team member.

Lenkov also teases a new love interest for a character and a storyline for Kono “that starts at the beginning of the year, which we’re excited about because it really gives her a lot of meat.”

Hawaii Five-0 will start shooting its second season in early July – and will hop around various island this time around – before returning to Monday nights on CBS in September.

What do you think of these latest additions? Any hopes on season 2?

Cuddy is out as season regular on House season 8. So who will replace her? Who will be the new boss?

David Shore told TV Line that the possibilities for a successor “are wide open…Everything’s on the table.” Which includes promoting Wilson. How crazy would it be to watch that shift in their relationship?!

However, Shore also indicated that the new boss could instead be a new cast member, as there will be fresh blood injected, particularly female, especially after losing Lisa Edelstein and with the amount of Olivia Wilde’s participation in question:

“It’s safe to say there’ll be new players next season. Some…Yes, we would want to have a female presence, absolutely.”

So who are your bets for this boss position?

Will there be character shakeups on Glee season 3? Well, we do not have news for that. However, we got this input: season 3 will be the final senior year for some of our beloved New Directions kids at McKinley.

Which of course means eventual heartfelt and tearful goodbyes…but it also means that we’ll be getting some more new characters introduced. And with the success of Chord Overstreet as Sam, Darren Criss as Blaine, and Ashley Fink as Lauren Zizes, you can bet while it will be weird, it should be something to look forward to.

“According to some fresh casting intel, producers are adding a new recurring female character described as ‘Adele meets Susan Boyle.’ In addition to being a great singer, interested actresses must be at least 18 years old but look like they’re in high school.”

Our “Adele meets Susan Boyle” will be only one of two new female characters though. The other we know will be a beautiful someone who can sing “all kinds of music”, named Rebecca.

And…Sue Sylvester will apparently run for Congress. As Ian says, “‘Nuff said.”
