Mekhi Phifer and Cheech Marin will stop by for an episode of the USA series later this year, TV Guide reports, as the former portrays Drake, a member the a cappella group to which Gus belonged to in college. Why does he show up?

To honor his lifelong mentor, Marin’s character of Deacon Jones.

Jaleel White and Kristy Swanson will also reprise their roles as Tony and Marlowe, respectively, on the upcoming installment.

As first revealed by TV Line, an upcoming episode of the USA hit will feature a trio of guest stars, all of whom will mock this ABC competition in some way.

• Lindsay Sloane will portray Melinda, the single woman at the center of Missed Connections, on which men from her past compete to win her heart.
• Greg Grunberg will play Dimitri, the show’s producer and Shawn’s primary suspect in an attack on one of the contestants.
• WWE Superstar Mike “The Miz”  Mizanin will take on the role of one of those contestants.

No exact return date has been announced, but Psych will premiere season six in October.

Look who’s coming on Psych season 6.

Jennifer Finnigan is gearing up to team with Jason Priestley.

The actress (Better with You, USA’s upcoming Wild Card) will guest star on a season six episode of Psych. According to TV Line, she will portray a woman named Barbie, a con artist who works alongside Priestley’s motorcycle-riding bad boy.

The installment, which also features Tony Hale, will be titled “Neal Simon’s Lovers Retreat.”

The USA hit has tapped a Beverly Hills, 90210 and an Arrested Development alum for guest roles on the same upcoming episode, as Entertainment Weekly reports Jason Priestley and Tony Hale will join a Shawn and Juliet adventure next season.

The actor who helped make long sideburns a fad will portray a con artist who attempt to pull a job at the same spa resort Shawn and Juliet are staying for a weekend.

The man forever known to many as Buster Bluth, meanwhile, will appear as the owner of an imports/exports business. His character crosses paths with this couple during the same weekend.

Last month, Psych also announced that William Shatner would guest star as Juliet’s father. With all these guests, do you think psych season 6 will be a blast?

Psych season 6 really gets exciting with its guest stars. They are Danny Glover, Michael Trucco, Wade Boggs and Molly Ringwald. But wait there’s still more.

But fans might be most excited for a role that is yet to be cast: a future episode of the USA hit will focus on Juliet’s father; specifically, Shawn and Gus’ attempt to repair the relationship between dad and daughter, as Juliet shares information with her pops that may even prompt him to give up a life of crime.

On an upcoming episode of the USA hit, Danny Glover will guest star on the series as a minor league baseball manager. He enlists the help of Shawn when his hitting coach drops dead.

Also set to appear on the installment: Michael Trucco (Fairly Legal), as one of the players, and MLB Hall of Famer Wade Boggs.

There is still no air date released for this episode. However, the season 6 premiere of Psych will be titled “Shawn Rescues Darth Vader.” Interesting huh?
