Kristen Stewart is definitely not just a vampire or werewolf-lover. She is an actress who can play various roles. Roles, such as a 16-year old stripper, that need a lot of character coming from an actress. On the heels of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’s release, comes the first official trailer for Welcome to the Rileys, due in theaters this October. Stewart plays the “wayward” Mallory, a 16-year-old working as a stripper/prostitute. She’s befriended by Doug Riley (James Gandolfini), a “lost soul” who’s grieving his daughter’s death and sees her as a surrogate daughter, of sorts.

One thing’s for certain, Stewart’s got that sullen-teenager look mastered. Welcome to the Rileys was shown earlier this year at The Sundance Film Festival to “ho-hum” reviews. This is the other side of Kristen and she proved here that she can really play more complex roles other than being Bella. Watch the trailer below.

For Angelina fans out there, I know you are waiting for some clips of the movie “Salt.” Now here it is, it shows how CIA agent Evelyn Salt (Jolie), uses simple materials to escape and fight for her life. Directed by Phillip Noyce (Catch a Fire), the movie follows Salt as she is hunted by her own agency after being accused of being a Russian sleeper agent bent on assassinating the president. In this clip, Salt has just been “outed” and decides to run rather than try to explain herself, using whatever items are at her disposal to stop the highly-trained and heavily-armed agents from bringing her in.

A new trailer of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1” was released and it came from the LEGO game Harry Potter 1-4. The structure of the trailer is the same but there are new scenes shown which includes Hermione and Ron. Well you can just compare it with the first official movie trailer.
In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Harry, Ron and Hermoine set out on their perilous mission to track down and destroy the secret to Voldemort’s immortality and destruction—the Horcruxes. On their own, without the guidance of their professors or the protection of Professor Dumbledore, the three friends must now rely on one another more than ever. But there are Dark Forces in their midst that threaten to tear them apart.
Harry’s only hope is to find the Horcruxes before Voldemort finds him. But as he searches for clues, he uncovers an old and almost forgotten tale—the legend of the Deathly Hallows. And if the legend turns out to be true, it could give Voldemort the ultimate power he seeks.

After the mop scene video which was released few weeks ago, here is another interesting clip on the most awaited movie, “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.” This 5-minute extended clip features a fight scene on the new Jerry Bruckheimer-produced movie. A new poster was also released (see above) and this is a great addition to the growing number of photos and stills of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.

Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) is a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan trying to defend the city from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina). Balthazar can’t do it alone, so he recruits Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel), a seemingly average guy who demonstrates hidden potential, as his reluctant protégé.
The sorcerer gives his unwilling accomplice a crash course in the art and science of magic, and together, these unlikely partners work to stop the forces of darkness. It’ll take all the courage Dave can muster to survive his training, save the city and get the girl as he becomes The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.

This week is definitely a “trailer” week. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1” trailer was already released and many are still affected by it. But Paramount Pictures has something to say as well, talk about bringing the trailer of the sequel of one of the most anticipated and feared horror film last year. Yes, you are correct. Here is the most awaited “Paranormal Activity 2” official movie trailer.
The sequel to last year’s surprise supernatural hit, which made over $151 million worldwide and was made on a $15,000 budget, is directed by Tod Williams (The Adventures of Sebastian Cole, The Door in the Floor) and to this point a cast list has yet to be officially listed. The official synopsis has not been released yet.

When we talk about death scenes, Final Destination franchise is the leader in bringing one. They have proven it through ages. Whether it’s getting fried in a tanning bed, pumped full of nails from a nail gun, flattened with a huge glass plate, nailed by flying debris at a NASCAR race, or choking in a bathtub , Final Destination knows something about getting people killed. Now in their fifth installment, weirdly renamed 5nal Destination, new death scenes will be expected and they are promised to be bloodier than before!

The new opener will have some unsuspecting young teenager, who’s dodged death more than once, get flattened by a suspension bridge. I can’t even imagine the machinations and horrifically bad luck needed to bring down a suspension bridge on some kid, but no doubt 5nal Destination has a gory storyboard down pat at this point.
Steven Quale (worked under James Cameron on Avatar) will direct the fifth installment on Final Destination franchise. And just for those wanting a little taste of the other opening scenes from Final Destinations gone by, here is a great video montage.

“Rango” centers on a chameleon who’s going through an identity crisis and embarks on a cross-country journey where he ends up in the dangerous SouthWest territory. Instead of the animals being portrayed as creatures in the wild they’re given human characteristics, a cowboy/mariachi wardrobe, and a Western genre vibe.
“Rango” is directed by Gore Verbinski ( Pirates Of The Caribbean) and features voice acting from Johnny Depp, Isla Fisher, Abigail Breslin, Bill Nighy, Stephen Root, Ray Winstone, Beth Grant, Ned Beatty, Harry Dean Stanton, and Alfred Molina and is scheduled to hit theaters in March 4, 2011.
