Chuck, TV Series NewsAugust 10th, 2010
Chuck is getting bigger! The cast is getting huge as well! When I utter these words, please take it literally.
Why? It is because former Incredible Hulk actor Lou Ferrigno will portray a bodyguard on the show’s September 27 installment. He’ll be in charge of protecting an evil spy/model played by Karolina Kurkova.
Other recent show casting news includes the additions of Olivia Munn,
Nicole Richie,
Linda Hamilton and Stacy Keibler.
Here are additional spoilers for you.
This week, the casting of Chuck is one of the busiest. So what will you say if I tell you that Chuck’s mom is a Terminator franchise regular?
Days after we learned that Dolph Lundgren, Olivia Munn,
Nicole Richie and Stone Cold Steve Austin would all appear next season, the show’s producers announced at Comic-Con today that Linda Hamilton will come on board as the title character’s mother. She promised that she will play a key role throughout the season four.
“We’re always looking for guest stars who will be great in the part, but who also speak to our audience and feel like it comes out of the universe of our show,” said executive producer Josh Schwartz. “If Chuck and Morgan were watching Chuck, they would be excited about Linda coming on board.”
Hamilton will always be best known as Sarah Connor from the Terminator franchise.
Added producer Chris Fedak: “The mystery surrounding Chuck’s mom is at the heart of the season, and there are going to be some shocking surprises in the first episode.By the end of the episode we are going to turn everything on its head with regard to who she is.”

The season premiere of Chuck is still months away but the casts are getting bigger and bolder. Why? We got some returnees!
Look for Nicole Richie to reprise her role of Heather Chandler in an October episode. Last seen in 2008, the character will reportedly resurface this fall when a prison transfer goes awry. As a result, Chandler will end up at Castle.
Entertainment Weekly adds that Heather’s appearance coincides with obstacles in the Chuck and Sarah relationship, meaning she might take advantage of this rift – and Chuck viewers might really start to hate her.
On the other hand, expect Stone Cold Steve Austin to return as Hugo Panzer. Got enough? I am sure that there are lots more addition in the future so better watch out for more news! Meanwhile, get acquainted with the latest
Season Four spoilers of Chuck.

For the avid fans of Chuck, here are some spoilers on what you are about to expect on the coming of its fourth season!
On Sarah’s reaction to Chuck killing Shaw: Chuck is the same guy. Even though he’s a hero and done these amazing things, in the end he’s actually killed someone to save her live, he’s still the Chuck Bartowski who saved her life.
On Chuck as a killer: When it comes to fatalities on Chuck, there will probably never be a moment on the show where if Chuck has to kill someone in the future, that it’s a small moment… I think that’s an important part of the show. He’s a person who’s more like Jack Ryan, where if you ever find yourself in a situation where you’re going to kill someone, the stakes have to be clear and present.
Will Chuck and Sarah remain together? Chuck and Sarah are together, and we’re really excited to see them together and be a couple. That internal angst, I think we’ve played it out. It’s been well explored. I’m much more interested to see what happens to them as a couple, their relationship.
On season four: At the heart of season four is the search for Mom. That’s going to be a really interesting exploration. The “Chuck” show has always been a family show. The mythology episodes always fold into family issues, be it weddings or reunions. That’s the show. We’re excited to delve into that.
The fourth season premiere of Chuck will be titled “Chuck vs. the Anniversary.”
But that’s not all the information we have on this September episode. Entertainment Weekly confirms a pair of interesting casting notes for it:
- Action star Dolph Lundgren will guest star in an unspecified role. Playing off his iconic character of Ivan Drago in Rocky IV, creator Josh Schwartz has Tweeted: “Dolph [will] try and ‘break’ Chuck in Season 4 premiere.
- Harry Dean Stanton will also make an appearance. He’s best known for portraying Roman Grant on Big Love.
