Cuddy is leaving but we have someone scrubbing in for House as series regular, Odette Annable.
The actress, best known for her role as Annie on Brothers & Sisters, will join the diagnostic team at Princeton-Plainsboro, but she’ll first appear behind bars, meeting Dr. House in prison on the season premiere.
According to Deadline Hollywood, the series is still searching for an actress to succeed Lisa Edelstein as the new Dean of Medicine.
Entering its likely final season, House will look a bit different next year: Edelstein is gone, and Olivia Wilde will only appear sporadically as Thirteen.
House season 8 premieres on October 3.
