Kick-Ass

Dave Lizewski, a comic-book fanboy, decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. As any good superhero would, he chooses a new name — Kick-Ass — assembles a suit and mask to wear, and gets to work fighting crime. There’s only one problem standing in his way: Kick-Ass has absolutely no superpowers. His life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copy cats, is hunted by assorted violent and unpleasant characters, and meets up with a pair of crazed vigilantes, including an 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo, Hit Girl and her father, Big Daddy.

Jack Sparrow is one of the coolest characters alive! He’ll be returning on the next installment of Pirates of the Caribbean. He surprised everyone, sitting on the beach with a bottle of rum and speaking directly to the Comic-Con audience. He told the audience that it certainly wasn’t the case that he would soon be embarking on a quest to find the fountain of youth but that, even if he were, he wouldn’t be looking for a crew. But, if he did, would anyone in the audience be interested? He promised that such an adventure would include “zombies, cutthroats, mermaids and… Penelope Cruz” and that it would be the kind of quest that would require “A bloody map. Or a bloody Mary. Or both.”

Below is the footage of Jack Sparrow’s appearance on

In Pirates 4, Captain Jack Sparrow crosses paths with a woman from his past (Penelope Cruz), and he’s not sure if it’s love–or if she’s a ruthless con artist who’s using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn’t know who to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past.

Another DC Comics graphic novel for this year! We watched the trailer of Bruce Willis’ Red and now it is time to see some movie stills.
Based on the cult D.C. Comics graphic novels by Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner, Red is an explosive action-comedy starring Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren.
Frank (Bruce Willis), Joe (Morgan Freeman), Marvin (John Malkovich) and Victoria (Helen Mirren) used to be the CIA’s top agents – but the secrets they know just made them the Agency’s top targets. Now framed for assassination, they must use all of their collective cunning, experience and teamwork to stay one step ahead of their deadly pursuers and stay alive. To stop the operation, the team embarks on an impossible, cross-country mission to break into the top-secret CIA headquarters, where they will uncover one of the biggest conspiracies and cover-ups in government history.
Mark your calendar because the release date set for this movie is October 15, 2010.

After the spy photos and spy videos that we presented last week, here are other photos that will surely satisfy your Transformers needs. Transformers 3 set photos are now online, and we are all thankful to the people who went to the set and captured some shots for us! So far one thing is for sure – get ready for a lot of destruction! Giant creatures – giant mess!
We already had a lot of reports about upcoming Michael Bay’s movie that stars Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Julie White, Kevin Dunn, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Alan Tudyk and John Malkovich, so make sure you refresh your memory.
In the mean time, take a look at LaBeouf filming an action scene, or explosions based on the wires that could be seen coming out of many of the beat-up cars used for the film, or even more – skydivers who jumped off the Trump Tower, soaring over the Chicago River and landing on Wacker Drive. There are lots of Autobots present on this filming location. See them all below.

We already saw Blackbeard’s ship and Jack Sparrow through the photos which circulated online. So it is time to go to the set of “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stanger Tides” and see some more from the cast and production. The filming location is on Oahu near the Blowhole at Halona Cove.

Movie also stars Ian McShane as Blackbeard, Penelope Cruz as Blackbeard’s daughter, Geoffrey Rush as Captain Barbosa, Kevin R. McNally as Captain Jack’s longtime comrade Joshamee Gibbs, Stephen Graham, Astrid Berges-Frisbey as a mysterious mermaid, Max Irons and Gemma Ward.
At the end, let us remind you that Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides comes to theaters May 20th, 2011.
I think what is left now is the photo of Penelope Cruz! Come on, howcome they are hiding her from public exposure. But I think on the next set of photos, we will already see her.

Reports on some details about Saw 7 or Saw 3D Traps Come Alive were released last week. Since then, many got curious on what are the probable traps available for the seventh installment of this jigsaw franchise. Luckily, now, we have a preview on how one of the traps will be. Below is the first still from Saw 7.
So what do you think on the trap?
I think there is a chain attached on the girl’s neck. I am just not sure what she will do to escape such. There are also two huge hooks, I think they are subjects of this trap.
The first theatrical feature to be shot exclusively on the cutting-edge SI-3D digital camera system, Saw VII 3-D brings the horrifying games of Jigsaw to life like never before. The film stars Tobin Bell, Cary Elwes, Costas Mandylor, Betsy Russell and Sean Patrick Flannery, and was directed by Kevin Greutert (Saw VI, Old Friends) from Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton’s script.
Saw VII 3D is a Lionsgate Release and  will hit theaters October 22, 2010, opposite the Paranormal Activity 2. Mark this day, we will all get thrilled and scared!
