It is official, Charlie Sheen is out on Two and a Half Men, and Ashton Kutcher is in as replacement.

Ashton Kutcher signed a deal to replace Charlie Sheen next fall on Two and a Half Men, although the newcomer says Sheen cannot really be replaced.

In a press release today, Ashton said of 2 1/2 Men: “I can’t replace Charlie Sheen but I’m going to work my ass off to entertain the hell out of people.”

“I can’t wait to get to work with this ridiculously talented 2.5 team and I believe we can fill the stage with laughter that will echo in viewers’ homes.”

Chuck Lorre, creator and executive producer of Two and a Half Men, says he’s thrilled his “family” is intact and “If I could be any happier, it’d be illegal.”

Kutcher will NOT be playing Charlie Harper (that would make for some downright ridiculous Two and a Half Men quotes), but rather a new character.

It’s unclear how he’ll be brought on, but Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones will be coming back for a ninth season, which CBS confirmed is in the works.

If you are still asking what to expect on the season 4 of Sons of Anarchy, well we have some spoilers from creator Kurt Sutter.

Already having teased a “reboot” for the FX drama, the producer told Entertainment Weekly season four will pick up 14 months after events from the November finale, but fans shouldn’t expect him to use flashbacks at any point.

“You’ll learn through story and you’ll see visually. I think a lot of it will be filled in throughout the season,” he says.

A major part of the Sons of Anarchy story is based around Jax and Tara, of course. What can we expect out of these two? Do they have a future?

“The beginning of the season is really about both of them figuring out what’s going to happen and making a decision about what’s going to happen,” Sutter says. “I think it’ll be about how one foot out the door, one foot in, doesn’t work anymore. I think this season, a lot of that fluctuation will come to a head and a decision will have to be made.”

I never thought that Seth  Gabel isn’t a regular on Fringe. Nevertheless, he can now be considered as a series regular starting season 4.

The actor, who has appeared over the last two seasons as Lincoln Lee, Bolvia’s colleague Over There, will be a series regular on season four of Fringe. TV Line first reported the casting news, theorizing that Lincoln – as opposed to his doppelganger – will be the character we see most often this fall.

Gabel last starred on Dirty Sexy Money.

I hope Lincoln will play a bigger role. So what are your thoughts for this character on season 4?

Last week’s NCIS, “Swan Song,” gave us an exciting and intense episode. Luckily, we still have the chance to see a better and more intriguing one on the season 8 finale. So what can we expect on the said episode?

The May 17 season finale will bring the team face-to-face with the Port-to-Port Killer at last, with significant and lasting consequences for the NCIS team.

Executive producer Gary Glasberg offered some hints at what’s to come Tuesday, as well as how the controversial P2P arc came about. Excerpts below …

On the episode’s title, “Pyramid”: “It’s a reference to where the weight and the power fall. It speaks to how decisions are made, where decisions are made, and where the threat is felt.”

“It gets directly spoken to in the finale, so it will be explained.”

On the finale’s surprises: “Throughout the finale there are a number of “a-ha” moments. It’s very multi-layered and not only wraps up the Port-to-Port story but also a lot of other loose ends that have come up. People will hopefully be excited by it.”

On the list of guest stars: “We have a lot of people coming back – Franks, Kort, Ray Cruz (Enrique Murciano). We’re putting together a really strong team of people to go after this Port-to-Port Killer, and it manifests itself in some interesting ways.”

On Kerr Smith’s performance as Navy Lt. Jonas Cobb: “The whole group has had a fantastic time working with him. Honestly, the emotional resonance of his performance has been wonderful, so I’m really excited to see how people react to it.”

On the re-use of references and characters from years past: “That’s the series creator Don Bellisario Way! It’s been fascinating for me to learn that, and it presents tremendous freedom to call back to characters, things, lines of dialogue that have come up, and then build entire storylines around ancillary moments.”

On crafting the serial killer arc: “In looking at the finale we had last season, and other finales the show has done, we really just wanted to present an adversary that was formidable, one we could really dig into – and yet do it in an NCIS manner.”

“The challenge was doing it in a way that was commensurate with this show, and it turned out to be a lot of fun.

On the final body count: “I won’t give numbers, but there is a significant loss that happens for the team – and there is probably more than one. What happened in this week’s episode and the finale will absolutely rock the world of NCIS.”
