We all know that there are lots of V fanatics who got sad when the said show was axed by ABC. But worry no more because Joel Gretsch has signed up to appear in an episode of In Plain Sight.

The actor, who portrayed Father Jack on that short-lived ABC drama, has been cast on an episode of In Plain Sight. He’ll portray a JAG Corps attorney named Lucas Provo who assists Mary and Marshall with a witness.

Look for a spark to be lit between Lucas and Mary on the installment titled “Provo-cation.”

What do you think of this guest appearance of Joel Gretsch?

B-squared is for the past seasons because season 7 of Bones will feature B-Cubed: Booth, Brennan and Babies!

But how will this affect the show? Executive producer Stephen Nathan gave us some answers and season 7 spoilers through his interview with EW.

Check the excerpts below:

On whether Brennan is for real: “Absolutely. This is not a dream”

On whether this twist was built around Emily Deschanel’s real-life situation: “This was something that we had been discussing even before Emily found out she was pregnant.”

“It’s very difficult to find a way to deal with two characters who everybody knows should be together without embracing what everybody calls the Moonlighting curse.”

“We had to find a way to keep Booth and Brennan Booth and Brennan and keep the integrity of those characters intact, and yet move them along because you can only wait so long.”

“So we wanted to avoid that part of the relationship where you first get together and the fresh glow of love, and you’re sharing dessert, and you’re overly polite.”

“We didn’t want to do that. Booth and Brennan have disagreed about fundamentally everything – except each other – for six years. That will continue.”

“Their characters will remain the same: Booth and Brennan will have completely different ways of dealing with the pregnancy, completely different ways of dealing with where their life goes from here. Booth is the marrying kind as we know, and Brennan is not.”

“Where are they gonna live? How are they gonna raise the child? All of these issues will be dealt with in the way that they’re always dealt with – from opposite sides.”

“The ultimate pragmatist meets this romantic who has faith that everything will be worked out as long as you look at it the right way.”

“These are issues that won’t die. We hopefully have found a way to continue what everyone loves about Bones while really kicking it up a notch and adding a whole new set of complications now that these two people actually find themselves together.”

On when Season 7 will pick up: “It’s not gonna be two weeks later. We’ll see them a little bit further along. Exactly how far along remains to be seen.”

On the time elapsed between the last two episodes: “Probably at least a month.”

On whether B-squared did the deed once or multiple times: “I think that’s up to every viewer. I have my little feeling about it, but I don’t want to impose my opinion on that on anyone.”

On their future as a couple: “Well, we’ll now see them as a couple – whatever a couple means to Booth and Brennan. It will be that unique couple. It won’t be what you expect.”

On adding a baby to their dynamic: “We want that to affect the show, but it’s not gonna be a show about having babies. It’s not Parenthood. I’m sure there are gonna be viewers who are upset. ‘Oh, the baby’s gonna do this and do that.'”

“A lot of viewers always make up their mind on how we’re gonna ruin the show before it happens. And hopefully we will disappoint those viewers. As for the viewers who have faith, we hope we won’t disappoint them. We’re very, very excited.”

On how the babies will change the show overall: “Bones is still Bones. We’re still gonna have gruesome murders and find the killer. That’s still always the main thrust of the show. We’ll follow their lives and follow the progression of relationships, but that’s always gonna be the backdrop against killing people.”

“The babies will definitely factor in the show. Every week? I can’t imagine. But it will be a part of their lives. We’ve known these people for six years. We’ve seen them grow.”

“They have children and their lives progress and evolve, and we’ll see a part of that while we’re, you know, tearing the flesh off of a horrendously decomposed body.”

Let’s admit it, the trailer of  Alcatraz is somehow weird. Well, what do you expect from a show created by
J.J. Abrams? After watching the said trailer, many viewers are asking on whether or not this series has a potential to be the next Lost.

In this case, the island in question is not a mysterious place that seems unstuck in time and space. Rather, it is the all too familiar island in San Francisco Bay that was once the site of the most notorious prison in the United States. The prison at Alcatraz was closed in 1963 and is now a tourist attraction. The remaining prisoners were dispersed throughout the American prison system.

Or, that is what they want us to think.

Again, using the trailer as the basis, you can check the following spoilers below:

What actually happened is that all of the inmates and some of the staff of Alcatraz Prison suddenly and inexplicably vanished one night. This fact seems to have been covered up by the government.

Fast forward almost 50 years later. It seems that the men who disappeared from Alcatraz are starting to reappear in the modern age and some of them are up to no good. There also seems to be a purpose to the events that is not altogether clear.

The cast includes Sam Neil as a government agent who is in charge of the investigation of the Alcatraz phenomenon. Jorge Garcia (Hurley from “Lost”) is a geeky expert on Alcatraz. Sarah Jones is an FBI agent.

“Alcatraz,” like “Lost,” seems to be designed to slowly reveal the answers to the mystery over the life of the series. How did the time travel take place? Who is behind it? What is their purpose, if there is a “they?”

One question arises over whether the answers to the mystery surrounding Alcatraz will be more satisfying than those in “Lost.” “Lost” seemed to have been thrown together and developed on the fly, with developments worked on as the series progressed. Ultimately, “Lost” did not seem to so much end as run out of gas and have an ending that seemed more groan-worthy than anything else.

“Alcatraz,” it is hoped, has been planned out a little more in advance, with the ultimate denouement already known by those writing for the show, so that everything seems to flow to it.

So what do you think of this new mystery show? Will it get enough viewers to stay alive?

Cassie Blake was a happy, normal teenage girl – until her mother Amelia dies in what appears to be a tragic accidental fire. Orphaned and deeply saddened, Cassie moves in with her warm and loving grandmother Jane in the beautiful small town of Chance Harbor, Washington – the town her mother left so many years before – where the residents seem to know more about Cassie than she does about herself.

As Cassie gets to know her high school classmates, including sweet-natured Diana and her handsome boyfriend Adam, brooding loner Nick, mean-girl Faye and her sidekick Melissa, strange and frightening things begin to happen. When her new friends explain that they are all descended from powerful witches, and they’ve been waiting for Cassie to join them and complete a new generation of the Secret Circle, Cassie refuses to believe them – until Adam shows her how to unlock her incredible magical powers.

But it’s not until Cassie discovers a message from her mother in an old leather-bound book of spells hidden in her mother’s childhood bedroom, that she understands her true and dangerous destiny. What Cassie and the others don’t yet know is that darker powers are at play, powers that might be linked to the adults in the town, including Diana’s father and Faye’s mother – and that Cassie’s mother’s death might not have been an accident.

Well we are surprised about the news given on the season 6 finale of How I Met Your Mother. I know you are all asking this question: Barney is getting married? So below you can read what Producer Craig Thomas told TV Line in an interview

What does the future hold for Neil Patrick Harris’ perpetual bachelor? Thomas tells TV Line his show will revisit Barney’s past with Robin in “complicated and juicy” fashion next year, while reminding viewers this wedding simply takes place at some point in the future.

“How does Barney get to that place??” Thomas asks. “What changes him? What makes him want to do this? Who’s he marrying? How did they get there? What’s going on on that wedding day? Is he happy? Is he nervous? Is this going to go forward? Is it going to be a disaster?… I will tease that in November sweeps of Season 7, where there will be four huge episodes for Barney. It will involve Robin, and there will be some very explosive relationship stuff happening.”

The producer also offered up two other spoilers:

  • The season seven premiere will be “wedding-themed” and take us back to those future nuptials.
  • Marshall and Lily will be “joyous and happy” as they embark on parenthood.
