You can’t say that you’re a certified Gleek if you haven’t watch the season 2 premiere! What happened? What’s new?

But before the review, I will first say that Charice indeed made the Filipinos proud!

Here is what CinemaBlend says!

The New Directions kids are going to need Jay-Z’s swagger in this season premiere, because school activity budgets have been cut to pay for the salary of Shannon Beiston (it’s French), the new football coach. Imagine Miss Mann from Scary Movie meets High School Musical. I wonder how Troy would have handled having the “Beiste” for a coach?

Naturally, Sue and the Schuester are livid when they find out that the Cheerios and Glee Club are being affected by the cuts. The two band together for a common cause: defeat the “Beist.” Can I just say how much I loved when these two pulled out the oldest prank in the book and ordered 25 pizzas in Beiston’s name?

Meanwhile the New Directions kids attempt to recruit new members so they can do well at nationals in New York City. Finn recruits new kid, Sam who sings a mean “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” naked in the shower, and Rachel discovers foreign exchange student Sunshine (newcomer Charise) during an intense Lady Gaga/Beyonce “Telephone” bathroom sing-off.

In other Glee happenings, Mike and Tina met at “Asian” camp and are now dating much to Artie’s display. Apparently Artie spent too much time on Halo and not enough time on Tina.

Hands down best line of the night was during Sam’s audition when he slammed Puck with, “I’ve never had balls in my mouth. Have you?” Runner-up line was Sue Sylvester’s snarky one-liner to Beiste: “These seats are currently being occupied by my ghost friends.”

Looks like there is no fear of a sophomore slump for Glee. Who else is looking forward to Rachel and Sunshine fighting over the spotlight? Think Sam will be the next Justin Beiber of McKinley High?

Any comments guys? In case you still don’t know that there is a guy named Sam Tsui who performs using the multiplicity effect, then you can watch him here on his cover of “Don’t Stop Believing”
