As what I’ve said on my pilot episode review about Hellcats, this series doesn’t make their audience wait! They attack right away!
In the second episode, we see some background story on other characters such as Savannah’s family problems and school switch. I also like the writers’ act of adding some religious stuff. It is true that you always need to say a littler prayer.

Also, for the clueless people out there, Marti had a bad experience performing in front of the crowd when her mother is present. But in this episode, she overcomes it and she did really good! And she is correct on what she have said, she’s not 16 anymore!
For the qualifiers, I am expecting that they will go pass this level. Their routine is also fine, in my opinion.
