Here are the latest season 4 spoilers of Glee from creator Ryan Murphy.
So what can we expect from season four?
“I will say the story for season four gets back to the underdog status and that will appease people, maybe,” Murphy said, answering critics who believe Glee partially lost its way when New Directions grew too successful.
Let’s now talk about the remaining non-graduates: Will and Sue.
“What I like is they will no longer be playing the same stories. Jane needs to get a new enemy and fast. Same for Matt. Matt has to have a new challenge and a new thing. We did not want to repeat the formula we’ve done. The show will be very different, but I think very satisfying.”

With the season 3 finale of Glee already done, we are now wondering what to expect on season 4. Here are the latest season 4 scoops.
Tell us something about Glee season 4.
Ausiello: This is subject to change, but it’s my understanding that they’re taking a Lost-like approach to Season 4 — devoting whole episodes to one location or the other. In other words, the premiere might be set at NYADA with Rachel and Kurt, while Episode 2 could focus on the first day back at McKinley. Smart way to go, IMHO.
So will Glee actually shoot in New York next season and not on some cheesy Hollywood backlot outfitted to look like New York?
Ausiello: And so, apparently, can Ryan Murphy. “We’re coming to New York,” the Glee boss insists. “Nothing is in stone, because we’re still budgeting, but I would love to come once every five weeks and shoot a lot of scenes there. We are 100 percent doing that; we’re not going to do it all on a soundstage. That was one of the fun reasons to do [the storyline].”
