Sheldon and Amy are simply perfect together! So what can we expect from their “relationship” on the next episodes of The Big Bang Theory? Below is the answer from Entertainment Weekly.

“We have an episode coming up called the “Helium Parasite Hypothesis,” it will be on in a couple of weeks,” Bialik told EW this week. “Amy starts to feel sexually aroused by someone. She doesn’t know what those feelings are. And Sheldon, we’re not sure if he is feeling jealousy, because he doesn’t know what those feelings are.”

Does this mean things are about to get a lot more serious between this pair?

“I think things are going to get more concentrated,” Bialik says. “They’re going to explore different aspects of the relationship. I can pretty much guarantee you’re going to see Sheldon in the same way you have always seen him. My character probably is going to stay the same. It’s more like, what does this relationship look like with these polarities?”

I’m really excited to see this episode!

Penny’s dad is in and this week’s episode is so much likable! Why? TV Fanatic explains below.

It’s strange.  Usually my biggest complaint about The Big Bang Theory this season has been that the show has been going the route of generic sitcom in lieu of the nerdy story lines.

Yet this week’s “The Boyfriend Complexity” featured one of the most generic non-nerdy stories yet, and somehow it ranks as my favorite of the season.  In the main adventure, Leonard pretended to be Penny’s boyfriend in order to make her father, Wyatt (Keith Carradine) happy and off her back.

Somehow with Leonard at the helm and Sheldon in the back seat, the A story had plenty of laugh out loud moments.  Carradine killed it as Wyatt.  Some of his best moments were recounting hilarious Penny ex-boyfriends.  What kind of guys did you date!? Just guys.

Definitely the highlight of Wyatt was the somewhat predictable twist ending of him pretending to yell at Leonard and begging him to get back with his daughter.  The poor guy just wants hid grandkids to grow up in a house without wheels.  Plus, the dude really must have enjoyed Wii fishing.

It’s not that Sheldon didn’t still bring plenty of laughs.  The guy spend the episode being kept out of the loop for obvious reasons, and his reactions and alterations to the roommate agreement were fantastic.

It was just really impressive to see the show let the other characters bring their A game.  Speaking of other characters, it was also nice to get a break from Amy as the newly promoted series regular, Mayim Bialik, took a week off.

Conversely, Melissa Rauch was amazing as usual.  She brings a unique, funny quirkiness to her character, all while hiding it behind a cute face and personality.

She helped keep the scenes with Wolowitz and Raj entertaining and eventually contributed to their incredibly awkward, painful kiss. Did you get to play with his big telescope?

Overall, it was a very funny, consistent episode of TBBT – and what more can you ask out of your weekly sitcom?  Nothing was too clever or out of the ordinary, but that’s not what this show has become.  Go turn change the channel to NBC and watch Community if you’re looking for ridiculous scenarios.

I hope this season will continue to pick up. What do you think?

Finally, the most awaited Sheldon-Wil rematch! Although it was not a rematch in terms of them competing again, I can say that Sheldon won this time as he got and escaped with the reel of Raiders of the Lost Ark! Awesome! Plus, add the Amy – Penny showdown, this is definitely one of the best this season.

TV Fanatic: Add Wil Wheaton into the mix and how can you lose with a story like that?  Oh, and it gets better: Penny is not only back, but she has a slumber party with Bernadette and Amy, who have both been promoted to series regulars.

So with great storylines and amazing comedic setups, how could “The 21-Second Excitation” be anything short of hilarious?

Unfortunately, despite all the funny references to Indiana Jones – like calling Leonard “Short Round” and the guys being chased out of the movie theater, a la Indy’s retreat to the seaplane – the humor just wasn’t there in the main story.

As for the slumber party, that really comes down to what side of the camp you are on Amy.  With Sheldon out of the scene, Amy clearly took over that character’s role, trying her best to play off Penny and Bernadette.

Personally, I’m torn on Amy.  I liked the concept of her when she was first introduced at the end of season three.  But now that we’ve had for nearly half a season, her character just comes across as a mean female Sheldon that delivers her lines in a flat, dull way.  There’s truly only one Jim Parsons.

Do some of her lines make me laugh?  Absolutely.  One of my favorites was Penny telling her to wear something comfortable and her response of: “Then I need to go shopping.”   Or even Amy announcing that she and Bernadette won Truth or Dare.

Pretty much the quicker and more basic her quotes are, the better.  It’s when she goes into the longer diatribes that only Sheldon can pull off that her character falls flat.

    Did you enjoy this episode?

Oh yeah, there is no Amy in this episode of The Big Bang Theory but we have Penny back! I don’t care if she needs to stand on the bar to hide his broken leg, as long as she is there then everything is fine. How I missed the Penny-Sheldon conversation! Plus, the guesting of Eliza Dushku made this episode an excellent one!

No matter how brief, her scenes with Sheldon had such amazing comedic chemistry.  Even weak by the high standards they’ve set together in prior episodes, their scene together was the highlight of “The Apology Insufficiency.”  That, or the Gorn.

This week also marked the much-hyped guest starring appearance by yet another nerd fantasy hottie, Eliza Dushku.  The weirdly hot Dushku certainly proved she lacked comedic acting skills (sorry, Buffy fans), playing her character extremely flat, failing to deliver the couple jokes she was handed.  Her six foot two Navy SEAL husband?  That could have been funny in more capable hands.

Luckily, she at least provided Sheldon, Raj and Leonard a straight guy to play off of.  Unfortunately, their scenes were cut extremely short in favor of what the TBBT has become: the Sheldon show.

I know there’s only so many weeks in a row we can continue to complain that other characters are pushed to the background in favor of making every storyline about Sheldon.  But, don’t worry, we’ll keep doing it until Chuck Lorre and company gives our other very capable actors their chances to shine.

We hate to complain about a show that continues to make us laugh, but it’s just lost its nerd magic that made it unique in prior seasons.  Now it just feels like a generic sitcom with one quirky character.  That’s been done before.  The Big Bang Theory from the first few seasons?  That was unique.

All complaints aside, the episode was a slight improvement over last week’s and at least saw a nice heartfelt apology and human side to Sheldon.  That’s always entertaining.  And did we mention the hilarious dream sequence featuring a Gorn in his spot?

Again there is no Penny on this week’s episode of Big Bang Theory due to her accident. Evidently, the show is very different without her. She adds something into the group that no other woman can replace.

According to TV Fanatic, TBBT took a page straight out of the generic sitcom book and had Leonard sleep with Raj’s sister, Priya (Aarti Moon), behind Raj’s back. However, rather than lead to a possibly hilarious episode between the two rarely paired characters, it instead became a Leonard-Sheldon adventure.

It’s as if TBBT is playing it too safe on its new Thursday 8:00 pm timeslot and has to keep going to their go-to guy, Sheldon. This time, Sheldon couldn’t keep a secret unless he came up with a good alibi in the form of “The Irish Pub Formulation.”

We’re all about Parsons and he certainly brought plenty of humor to the episode, but we just can’t help but feel like this show always has more potential. This episode didn’t take advantage of the truly nerdy aspect of the character, and like we said earlier, didn’t take advantage of Raj in the story.

All that said, the scene where the guys all were apologizing for various pranks they pulled was one of the funniest in the show’s history. Just goes to show, even when they play it safe, we can sit around and watch these guys spit out The Big Bang Theory quotes and have us laughing.

Kaley should be back next week and we can’t wait to have our Penny return.  Sometimes, you don’t realize what you had until it’s gone. Turns out she was a vital element to the show.

We all know that Eliza Dushku will appear in The Big Bang Theory as a Fed Agent. Now, we have another guest and he is Keith Carradine.

The long-time actor will appear on a November episode of this CBS hit as Penny’s father, Michael Ausiello reports, following the show’s tradition of picking impressive talent for the parents of its main character (see Baranski, Christine as Leonard’s mom).

A veteran of the small screen, Carradine most recently recurred on Damages and Dexter. No word yet on what brings him into town on The Big Bang Theory.

We saw a lot of fantasy women coming on The Big Bang Theory, but now we have something real.

While other beauties such as Katee Sackhoff have appeared on the CBS sitcom in fantasy sequences (and bathtubs), the former Dollhouse actress will guest star on the November episode as an actual character.

As seen below, Dushku will portray a federal agent who interviews Wolowitz in order to clear him for a new project for the Defense Department. EW first puiblished the following photo of Dushku in the role:

Leonard has a date! Sheldon is screwed! The Big Bang Theory gets funnier every episode!

TV Fanatic: On this week’s episode, “The Desperation Emanation,” Sheldon still got the A story when Amy wanted him to meet her mother.  However, we were just happy for the little guy to get the secondary story as he invoked the girlfriend clause and had Bernadette fix him up.

During Sheldon’s storyline, we were surprisingly not as annoyed with Amy this time around.  Maybe our little break from Amy has been a good thing.  The two of them were back to making us laugh, especially during their farce of a video chat with her mother.

Meanwhile, Leonard’s blind date was as awkward as us to watch as it probably was for Leonard to be on.  However, between Wolowitz’s J-Date joke and Leonard’s consent to going to the wedding, it had more laughs than painful moments.

While it lacked any of the nerdiness we expect from the The Big Bang Theory, we thought it was an above-average episode.

This week’s episode of The Big Bang Theory is Howard’s. It’s really fun to see him with his fantasy girl and wait, another fantasy man that even I did not expect.

CinemaBlend says: The Hot Troll Deviation alluded to Wolowitz and his ex-girlfriend, Bernadette, after their extended hiatus. Upon initially seeing her at the good old Cheesecake Factory, Wolowitz struggled with what approach to take when seeing her-should he be confident, aloof, or sensitive? Characteristically, he chose to be childlike, and he scurried under the table when she neared him.

As funny as this situation was, it allowed Wolowitz to unearth some deeply harbored truths. When asked by his friends why he and Bernadette split up, Wolowitz cowered in embarrassment. His refusal to let others indulge in his personal life was something different and unexpected. It proved that he had shame.

Cleverly, we received insight into our troubled nerd’s psyche. With guest appearances from George Tekei and Katee Sackhoff, Howard’s mentality was depicted by science fiction love gurus who knew just as much about love as he, himself, did. However, Wolowitz clearly had Bernadette on his mind, and thus, the pursuit for her hand commenced.

After coming to Penny for advice on how to get Bernadette back, Wolowitz finally spat out the reason for his initial demise. He cheated on her…virtually…with a character on World of Warcraft…with someone who ended up not being a woman. Embarrassing? Yes. Expected? Even more so. Yet, the scenario refused to illustrate itself as a gag, and it nicely became something more. Eventually, Wolowitz expressed that he had to resort to antics like this because he had no one in real life for whom he could show affection. His father’s been absent, and his mother’s been an antagonizing force. Being with Bernadette was something new, and he didn’t know how to handle it. He didn’t know how to handle how cool he actually was in her eyes.

Seeing Wolowitz get the win, despite my typical aversion towards him, made me smile. It showed that the writers still have a passion for characters other than Sheldon, and it proved that The Big Bang Theory can still create some nice character moments.

Unfortunately, The Hot Troll Deviation didn’t contain anything to counterbalance Wolowitz’s arc. Again, the series designed Raj and Leonard as recipient pallets, and Sheldon became a bland background. Seeing him lower on the hierarchy of importance was a change of pace, and the episode felt estranged because of that. Fortunately, Howard Wolowitz saved the day.
