That was something we talked about when we were doing the pilot, before we even had a series. It was one of the first things we came up with.
About Rosalee in season 2.
Oh yeah! She’s going to have a larger role, and she’s going to have something pretty horrendous happen to her!

Yes. [Laughs] It is going to get worse for Hank before it gets better.
What about the Captain’s story?
The Captain is many things to many people, and next season, much more will be revealed, and early on! We’re going to reveal a lot more about him right away.
More of Nick’s life or more procedural-focused?
Both. It will still be a procedural that you can watch without knowing nothing about nothing — except that it’s that cool show where they solve crimes and people turn into critters. [Laughs] But if you’re a hardcore fan — or even a softcore fan — there will be plenty of mythology to keep you interested and keep you watching and locked in. While there will be focus on Nick’s life, there will be some new and evermore frightening creatures — as well as a list of returnees.
