“The Karate Kid” remake won the blockbuster battle this week as it got an initial gross of $56,000,000 on US Box Office for June 11-13 weekend. Following it is another remake, but of a TV Series, entitled the “The A-Team.” Other than the two, there are no additional newcomers in this weekend’s box office top 10.
Here is US Weekend’s Box Office top 10 (June 11-13):
- The Karate Kid – $56,000,000
- The A-Team – $26,000,000
- Shrek Forever After – $15,800,000
- Get Him to the Greek – $10,100,000
- Killers – $8,170,000
- Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time – $6,600,000
- Marmaduke – $6,000,000
- Sex and the City 2 – $5,525,000
- Iron Man 2 – $4,550,000
- Splice – $2,860,000
